Amanda Linsley - BA/BA Hons Management Accounting & Applied Economics
Amanda has many years experience in business development, project and interim management and is passionate to pass her knowledge onto SME businesses, particularly those in the start-up and early phase to help them to succeed. She has ‘walked the walk’ having previously set-up and operated three businesses in the UK taking two through to sale/acquisition. Amanda was on the SW England regional committee for the Institute of Directors between 2003 and 2007 when she moved permanently to New Zealand.
Currently Amanda is Chief Executive of the Manawatu Chamber of Commerce. Until 2012 Amanda worked with Vision Manawatu, the regional Economic Development Agency looking after the NZTE Regional Business Partner Programme and assessing the training and management capability needs of businesses throughout the Horizons Region. Liaising with organisations throughout the wider-region, creating connections and seeking out opportunities for the growth of the regions' businesses.
Business Matters is also currently working with The NZ Rugby Museum, Te Manawa and Hilux NZ Rural Games.
Amanda enjoys networking and ‘people-connecting’ and is currently on the board of the New Zealand Rugby Museum, and spent 3 years on the Community Arts Palmerston North board, and has delivered the Christmas in the Square Concert for the past 7 years working (and current) working alongside McCann Creative

At the moment Business Matters is myself working with partners to form strategic alliances to help businesses. If there is a field of expertise where you would best be served by another I will discuss this with you and provide details. Under Connecting You there are a number of businesses with whom I work to provide a complete service. It's all about sharing information and working together.
